The label Whyred needed a place high up over the skyscrapers for their photoshoot today and of course they had heard about our fantastic roof terrace. Slightly starstrucked as we are, we immediately welcomed them with open arms!

Our Marketing Communicator, Sarah Rundt, started this week with a seminar for Selmanätverket. The lecture is called From Pressrelease to Mediahouse and is about how modern PR and communication might develop in the future. Sarah describes the event as following: “It was a true honor to speak at Selmanätverket’s last breakfast meeting before summer. I couldn’t have wished for a better start to the week! I am truly impressed by these women: they have followed their dreams and started their own businesses – be it being a wedding planner or giving classes in yoga or social media”.

Mynewsdesk is growing and this summer we’re entering Norrland with a local office in Umeå.

This delightful man, Christian Mannheimer, is the one opening the new office but he can’t do it all by himself. That’s why we need new people to strengthen up our Norrland sales team. If you want to live in “Björkarnas stad” and work with sales in a driven and fun organization, apply here!

Summer is almost here but we haven’t started relaxing yet. Especially not Daniel Wilke from our Gothenburg office who was the best Sales rep on Mynewsdesk in May.

This week has been crazy with conferences, lectures and a release of our amazing newsroom redesign. Would like to tell you more about everything but we’re checking out soon for two days of vacation since it’s the Swedish national day tomorrow. See you all soon!

Yesterday was the yearly “Kund-aw” here in Stockholm. We invited our customers, and other people we like, to mingle with us on our roof terrace. It was sunny, our own house band The Reds played and we released red 800 balloons. Pretty perfect after work as you can see.

The past two days has been a little bit more crowded at Mynewsdesk HQ. We’ve had the Academy introduction for our new employees with lectures, workshops and role plays. In a couple of hours they will be ready to go back to their departments and local offices with (hopefully) some new inspiration and thoughts.
Thanks Robert, Sosun, Simon, Alexander, Jonas, Henrik, Rhodri and Daniel!

Mynewsdesk is already entering the great city of Berlin but with nowhere to sit. Yesterday German Sophie and me, Swedish Sophie, were out to find the perfect spot.

…for serving us her home made apple pie with vanilla ice cream for Friday fika. Delicious!
